The students of Juniors 4 have been investigating about different cultures and ways of life.

They wrote their conclusions in the following compositions.

1. THE PEOPLE OF MY COUNTRY

The Chinese:

This ethnic group is in Buenos Aires, in a small neighbourhood called “Chinese Neighbourhood”. They speak Chinese. The food is a little bit strange. They eat a lot of rice and whale meat. Their clothes have a lot of accesories in them and they’re all made with expensive cloth.

Their lifestyle is too fast because they have a lot of technology and they work a lot. A great number of people have two or more jobs, because their jobs save time.

2. THE PEOPLE OF MY COUNTRY

The Japanese:

The Japanese people speak Japanese in their family but with the people of Argentina, they speak Spanish. They like eating rice and a lot of fish and drinking a lot of Ponche, water and soda. They like wearing Kimonos made of silk. In Argentina they have a very good lifestyle. They have a lot of jobs, the normal jobs. They’ve  got jobs in restaurants making a lot of Sushi. At night they go to the Japanese Club in Buenos Aires Resto Bar of Sushi.

THE PEOPLE OF MY COUNTRY

The Italian:

Next to my home there’s a family of Italian people. They speak Italian but with the neighbours they speak English. Their son Marcelo is my friend, I went to his house to have dinner and we ate pizza of different flavours. They usually eat pasta and pizza, and the father drinks wine. They wear elegant clothes. The mother works as a teacher of Italian and the father has a restaurant. Marcelo goes to school and has a private classes of English. He’s progressing.

THE PEOPLE OF MY COUNTRY

The Bolivian:

There are a lot of different ethnic groups in my country. One of them is the Bolivian. Their language is similar to my language. They eat a lot of spicy food and they drink “chicha”, it’s prepared with milk.

Their clothes are “ponchos” and trousers of silk and llama, and woolen t-shirts. Their life is different from any other. They live in a small house and they do all kinds of jobs. They all play sports. In football they won Brazil 2-1.

Good Bye
